I also have a wrench that would fit but the wrench is too long to fit.

I am replacing the transmission in my ge washer.
I am having difficulties getting the 1 11 16 aluminum hub nut off to remove the spin basket.
I have retightened it three times and it s still coming loose.
Getting the spanner nut off is only step 1.
