Glass roofs are beneficial in internal rooms where external windows are far away or too small to bring enough light. A glass roof for the patio makes the outdoor space useable all year round. Glass roofs our bespoke structural rooflights are designed to provide a frameless internal view which maximises daylight inside the building. They allow for flexibility in wall design and window placement.

Glass roof systems and roof lanterns provide the appeal of a traditional conservatory. They are also useful if side windows are restricted by neighbouring properties. This has been tested and passed at 2000 pascals for wind and rain. Especially useful in internal rooms where external windows are far away or small and rear extensions where side windows may be restricted due to neighbouring properties.

We have fabricated them for pool enclosures kitchens sitting rooms libraries stairwells and anywhere that natural light may enhance the aesthetic of your home or business. We used heat soaked toughened to allow for wind pressure. While overheating is certainly a possibility as is the noise of the rain the end result is truly spectacular. Glass roofs are a fantastic idea as they make the house look airy and bigger than it actually is.

Structural glass can be utilised in roofing areas to create a fully glazed roof to any space or room. In addition it provides protection from sun rain and wind.
