Gmc Door Lock Stuck

I had the right rear door lock on my 08 denali go out last year they replaced the solenoid.

The lock on my door still goes up and down as if it can be locked and unlocked. Now the left rear door lock solenoid has failed. When opening the rear door of my 2008 gmc sierra 1500 crew the latch is stuck in the lock position so that my door won t close. It could be as simple as that.

Back door is stuck locked hi there i just joined today april 15 2010 and i have the same problem. However when it is in the unlocked position i still cannot open my drivers door from the inside or the outside. It seems like the pin is getting stuck by a tight fit. Ep 8 does your door not want to lock or unlock. If that doesn t work you have two choices. I have tried to push it up but it is firmly set in place. I tried to unlock the door by hand by pulling the lock to open but it doesn t appear to unlock the door.

On my 2003 gmc envoy the driver door is stuck and can t be opened. It appears the power lock is not unlocking. Something inside the door must have let loose or your latch mechanism has broken. Keyfob door unlock button etc all to the same effect.
